Publisher Description
Locket is a special place on your home screen, to cherish memories of your loved ones.
A place close-at-hand, to remember your time together. Photos on a map, photos taken on today’s date, a video you haven’t seen in a while.
Select an important album, and Locket becomes a space to explore it without the clutter of your full photo library.
- Pick a photo album, and Locket will help you explore it easily and often.
- View your photos on a timeline.
- Filter your album to quickly find that one video you haven’t seen in a while.
- Shuffle your Locket to rediscover forgotten memories.
- Explore your album’s photos on a map - with clustering for easy navigation.
- See the items from your album that were created on this day in previous years.
- Jump to any birthday, holiday, or milestone and revisit a particular day-in-history.
If you purchase Locket Plus, you’ll also be able to use a Shared Album (from your Photos app) as your Locket, and select from more than a dozen alternate app icons.
Keep your most important memories close.

Version History Hey there! This update has a handful of small bug fixes. Cheers! 1.5.1 06/29/2020 Updated for iOS 13
A whole bunch of tweaks and fixes to make Locket work perfectly on your shiny, upgraded device.
System Dark Mode
If you’re on iOS 13, Locket’s Dark Mode stays in sync with your device’s settings, and no longer requires Locket Plus.
Native Dark Mode Maps
Now that iOS has dark-mode maps, Locket doesn’t need Mapbox for dark-mode support. (iOS 13 users only.)
Read-Only Mode
Hides the delete-photo button, so little ones’ roving fingers don’t accidentally delete a favorite memory.(Enable this in Locket’s Advanced Settings.) 1.5 10/14/2019 Fixes an issue where audio-playback was interrupted on app-launch. 1.4.1 08/13/2019 This update adds some nice little touches to Locket.
First up, there are five new "portrait" app icons (by Jason Stoff) — so if you use Locket to keep photos of a loved one, you've got some new options. (And if you'd like to see something else, please let me know!) This is a Locket Plus feature.
Other little details:
- You can now post a photo to your Instagram Story. Tap the share-button on the photo-detail screen.
- When you're viewing a photo, sometimes you realize "oh, there were other photos from that day, and I want to see them!". Just tap the info-button on the photo-detail screen, and you can view the image in your full camera-roll timeline.
- There are a bunch of Siri Shortcuts available, so you can open Locket to photos-taken-nearby with a single voice command, and other things! Visit the in-app settings to set these up.
- You can now delete an image from Locket. Sometimes, when you're shuffling through Locket, you might find some images that you'd rather delete, and it's now a quick tap to do it.
Of course, there's a bunch of other little bug-fixes in here — but if you have a feature you'd like to see included in a future version, please let me know! 1.4 08/07/2019 Fixes an issue in the app-icon switcher. 1.3.1 04/11/2019 Locket 1.3 includes a few new features:
- On This Day notifications: if your Locket contains items from this-day-in-history, you can schedule a notification!
- Custom app icons (Locket Plus): choose from a new set of app icons to make Locket even-better on your home screen.
- Dynamic Type support: Locket adapts typography to match your system preference.
- Improved animations: as you navigate around the app, there are friendlier animations and gestures to make things more fluid.
Other smaller bits:
- Performance improvements when switching Locket albums.
- Tidied up the in-app settings menu.
- Improvements to the Change Date screen. 1.3 04/10/2019 Locket 1.2 includes Night Mode, a feature for Locket Plus to make the app easier-on-the-eyes in low-light settings. Night Mode is a darker color theme, and includes a special dark maps tab, too. 1.2 01/16/2019 Locket v1.1 adds Shuffle, a new way to explore your photo library. Just tap the “Shuffle” button at the top of the first tab, and revisit memories you’d maybe-forgotten. (Want to see a random video or live photo? Combine Locket’s Filters with Shuffle, and get to it.)
Also included in this update:
- Added home-screen shortcut for Shuffle (on devices that support 3D Touch)
- Added a filter to find Portrait photos
- Localized the “Choose Date” screen for European date formats
- Added “Save to Images” from the share menu
